LUNAR IMPACT FLASH CATALOGUE

Overview

Lunar impact flashes are flashes of light caused by meteoroids crashing into the Moon. Lunar impact flashes were first observed in the late 1990's, and have since been seen by observatories across the world, including many by NASA's impact flash monitoring program. This website aims to keep an up to date catalogue of every lunar impact flash observed to date, along with all the publicly available details. The table can be navigated to by clicking the button above.
